Carrie believes yoga found her. She immediately felt the profound healing benefits of yoga and fell in love with the practice. This opening of her heart ignited a passion which led her to complete a teacher training and begin teaching yoga.
Carrie has always seen her practice of yoga as gift – bringing balance, clarity and awareness to her life. Carrie experiences yoga as movement in stillness, stillness in movement; feeling a pose from within, and having that come as naturally as loving your son; space – for breath, for balance, for connection, for possibility, for joy! She is grateful and humbled to share that passion. Each of her classes is a delicate balance between intention and surrender. Carrie guides each student to discover their own beauty, to embrace their humanness and to live from their place of truth. To watch as each student discovers their essence brings her immense JOY.
Carrie is an 500 E-RYT, Trauma trained, Certified Yoga Therapists. Along with her yoga certifications, Carrie holds a B.S. in Social Sciences, a Secondary Teaching Certificate and a Masters in Education, from the University of Utah.
